OF NOTE Tom Wilmeth was the first official Camp Boss, serving from approximately 1973
to 1980.

 

DID YOU KNOW ?? The first camp photographer was a fellow by the name of Bill McCain. Our current photo man is Bud Frey.

 

CAMP MANAGERS:

The Remuda Camp, since the early 1980's has had two camp managers. The first was John Burden and the second and current manager is John Creighton. But, did you know that before the camp managers, there was a bat boy for several years by the name of Jack Lutch. Now long retired from the Post Office, Jack lives in Wickenburg.

Coney Orosco, Camp Boss for 55+ Years Passed away Sunday night, Monday morning (July 2-3).
There will be services at the Community Center in Wickenburg this Thursday, 7/6 @ 6PM.
Coney you are a friend to all, and will be deeply missed by Members of the Desert Caballeros
